Title: UPNP video server over internet

Just wondering, if I connect to the nas over the internet, will the dns stream movies?

I am by no means an expert on the subject, but I believe the answer is no.  As far as I'm aware the only service that is accessible from the internet is FTP.  However, depending on what software you are using, you might be able to start an FTP transfer and begin the watching the movie as it transfers.
