Title: Wireless Restart
Post by: Chrop on January 18, 2014, 12:22:51 PM
Hi,

I been using Dir 655 router (A4 Fw 1.32) for the past 3 years and for past 2 weeks I notice that my wireless connection drops every night. The odd thing is it usually only occurs at night and not in the morning or afternoon. Nothing has changed besides putting op the Christmas tree but that has been taken down but the problem continues. I have tried directly connecting to the modem and that works. I have even tried to move the router more into the open

A4 FW 1.32
Tried soft restart (pulling electricity plug), trying not to hard reboot if I don't have to.
QoS- off
Advanced DNS Services- off
Wish- on
Guest mode- on
G mode only
Fixed channel
Password protected

Strange how this started to occur just now.

Thanks for all your help
