Hi, I have the DSL-2520U modem, and it just keeps disconnecting from the internet for no apparent reason. The times are random, and it even disconnects if left idle for 10-20 mins, even though I have auto-disconnect turned off.
I run on Windows 8.1 Pro x64.

- What Hardware version is your modem? Look at sticker under modem.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
- What region are you located?
- Are you wired or wireless connected to the modem?
I recommend that you have your ISP check the cabling going to the ISP modem, check signal levels going to the ISP modem. Check the phone lines for correct operation and filtering. The modem is dependent upon getting good signal from the ISP Service.

Hardware version - Z1
Firmware version - 1.08
And my isp's cables are good, this never happened with my old modem. Also, when it gets disconnected, all the lights are green, but none of them blink and none of the pages open.
I live in India and no , not on a wireless network.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and have them review your modem setup and settings.
