Title: wan mac address issue

no matter what modem i am using the wan mac address is always the same  00:1C:F0:F2:03:05  if i try to enter the right one manually it wont even connect

anyone else getting this?

This is quite normal. Your router has one WAN port with one MAC address.
This will allways be the same, no matter what modem you use.

You can only change it by using the "Clone MAC Address" function in the routermenu.

The WAN address is the physical ROUTER WAN interface MAC address. Like lizzi555 said you can change it by the MAC address of your PC. Some ISP require this. But in a normal situation there is no need to change it.
