I'm looking to upgrade from my DIR-655. One issue that I'd like to avoid on my next router is the DHCP reservation limit -- the DIR-655 arbitrarily limits the number of reservations at 25. Is there a limit on the 868L?

I haven't ran in to this since I don't have that many devices online at the same time or has any one posted about it about it. I presume there maybe a limitation...
You might phone contact D-Link support and ask them before you buy. Ask for level 2 or higher support. Or go to a store with a refund policy that you can check one out for 30 days.

Hi there,
Did you end up solving this?
I have a Dlink DSL-2770L and have just come up against the 10 IP limit on DHCP reservation.
So I'm looking to junk the 2770L and replace it with something that supports a higher limit (25 would be fine).
Did you end up moving to a different router, and if so, does it support more than 10 DHCP reservations?
Thanks,
Tom

You could bridge the modem and use a 868L as your main host router.

I ended up buying an ASUS RT-AC66R. It can handle 100 or 128 reservations (can't remember the exact number).

What did you do with the 868L? ???
-
I didn't buy it... it appeared to have the same limitation as my dir-655... and the ASUS support appeared to be rated better than DLink's.

Enjoy. ;)
