Title: use as TS server
Post by: kabul on February 09, 2014, 05:36:29 PM
Hello, is possible to add new app to dns-320? I'd like to use my device as Teamspeak server, independent on PC, so I need to install Teamspeak 3 server on it. Is this available?

Does this NAS even meet the minimum system requirement of TS3? I doubt so!

Minimum system requirements are 800 Mhz processor and 128 MB memory, which this NAS meets. Closely, but still yes.

You missed the point, is there a distribution for the processor that this NAS is running on? IIRC, there is no GPL source provided.

A new app - I don't think so. If you "upgrade" your NAS with Debian Squeeze - maybe (I see there's a Linux server there), but you should have some Linux knowledge.

As a side note: even if TS3 works, TS2 might be a better choice, since it's less demanding.
