Title: Stuck on Install DCS-932L -
Post by: keef74 on February 12, 2014, 09:07:25 PM
Hello forum, Having issues with a DCS-932L I removed the camera from my old account/deleted mydlink account.  I have downloaded software re-install the camera and once I get past section where the camera check for green led.

The camera is showing as unregistered in the setup and is asking for the Admin Account password. I don't know the correct password.
I have reset the device numerous times and NOTHING still asks for password and sits on unregistered. I have no idea where to go from here.

My home router has current firmware. The camera was previously working I just needed to re-create a new account. So much hassle Now.

Please Help

Once the device has been reset, it should reset the login and password to their default values.
The default login is "admin" and leave the password blank.

Hello Ted, I have reset camera (hold in a paper clip 4 secs) the led turns red. I then power off camera and let it sit 2 minutes turn it on the LED goes green.

It is still asking for pasword I tried the default username:admin passord:blank

There's a good chance you didn't hold the recessed Reset button long enough, causing the factory reset not to work the first few times. I'm glad everything worked out.  ;)
