Just bought a DNS-325 turned it on after installing a hard drive. The Enclosure Box rattles in the upright position but the sound goes away when I place it sideways!

Does the rattling persist if you power down the DNS-325 and remove the HDD, and reboot?
If the noise is coming from the DNS-325 itself, you may want to consider returning the unit to the vendor for a replacement. The DNS-325 should not be generating the type of noise you are describing.
Again, if you do choose to return the DNS-325, I recommend going through the vendor where you made the purchase rather than D-Link. D-Link requires that you return the original unit back at your own expense, i.e. you have to pay the return shipping.

The noise persists and will only go away if I tilt the device upwards, side ways or just place it down, sideways.
I will go exchange it, as I like it.

Have you tried if removing the front plate changes anything?
