Title: Fan doesn't work!

I'm doing a massive data transfer right now and the heat coming from the drives are enough to boil an egg, what irks me, though, is that the fan isn't even turning..at all.  I have the cover off to keep the drives as cool as I can get them but surely the fan would pick up that it's BOILING hot (52 degrees celsius from the status page) and start spinning?  What is wrong with this 1.06 firmware?

Try resetting the unit to factory defaults and see if the fans are still failing to turn on. If so try reflashing the firmware. If they still fail to turn on contact technical support via telephone for an RMA.
