Title: Making an FTP every 15 minutes
Post by: RDK45 on February 16, 2014, 06:25:16 AM
I'd like to change my DCS-930L setup from FTP-ing one photo per day using these settings

Code: [Select]
Schedule
Days: Mon  Tue  Wed  Thu  Fri  Sat  Sun
Start : 11:30    Stop :  11.31
Image Frequency  30  Seconds/Frame

to one photo every 30 minutes from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM.  It is not clear from the FTP dialogue how I should do this.  I guess I don't understand the concept of the Image Frequency: Frames/Second vs Seconds/Frame.

Thanks...RDK

The image frequency setting did not work prior to the latest firmware, v1.09

Set the seconds per frame to 1800 (=30 seconds x 60 seconds/minute)
And you would set start and stop to 05:30 to 20:30

I think I did this with 5 minute intervals (300 seconds/frame) a while back - didn't keep the results, because camera was getting hit by sun and washing out the pics, but it did work at 5 minutes
