Hi
My 320 stopped recognising my HDD, when I go to disk management the options are greyed out and no sign of a installed drive. I've bought two new disks and exactly the same.
I've upgraded firmware, reset the box and tried the setup software. Software doesn't offer formatting options.
Any suggests on other options before I go and buy a new box?

Have you tried holding in the reset button (at the back) for more than 10 seconds? This should reset the unit to factory defaults (it will wipe user settings but not touch the data on the disks).
If this does not bring back recognition of the disks it maybe that the power brick is not supplying the power needed to have everything working (while voltage may be correct when measured at no load the loaded voltage may not be enough to power up the disks hence their not being seen). The simple test for this is to get/borrow another power supply of the same voltage and the same, or higher, current rating and use that to power the unit.

Ivan, you are a wise wise man.
I'd been using the wrong powerpack, must have got mixed up during a house move, found the right one and it's back up.

Glad to be of help. I must admit that I own a company that services and maintains computer equipment in an industrial setting and I've been in the game for over 40 years ;)
