Title: DFL-860E VPN Setup Help Request
Post by: Sibs on February 24, 2014, 06:16:38 PM
Hi

I was wondering if i can get some help with configuring VPN with the DFL 860-E

I created a VPN Server according to all the details as described in this guide
http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/DFL-860E/REV_A/SetupGuides/VPN_PPTP_DFL-860_to_Windows_PPTP.pdf
Currently i am trying to connect to it through the companies public IP address and it times out and does not connect.

On the 860E log it says the packed was dropped due to TCP_seqno_too_low

The wan port is plugged into a billion 7800n ADSL router. i have enabled port forwarding from external ports TCP 1723 & 47 , IP, GRE to internal port 192.x.x.60 (wan1 port of the 860e firewall)

Was there anything i can do to configure the PPTP Vpn to work?

Regards
Sibs

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and get immediate help and information on this.

Hi,

Try to find out if there is a DMZ option on the  billion 7800n ADSL router ?

If so, then redirect it to the DFL-860E wan1 IP.

So all incoming traffic will be redirected to the DFL-860E
