Hi, i don't understand, how come the ssh port on my DNS320L is opened, answering by a busybox prompt as it is a stock 320L ????
The busybox command stay frozen, but still.... port 22 is opened... security issue ?

No one ?
When i'm connecting with putty on port 22 on my stock DNS320L i'm asked for a password for the admin user (the same as the gui is not working)... and if i try to log in with root user, nothing happens...
My other DNS320L is not doing the same thing...
No one is worried if the ssh port is opened for no reason on a stock DNS320L ?!!!
D-link techs... an answer ?

I know this is an old topic, but it works as intended on my DNS-320L. Do you or did you have FFP or Alt-F installed? Stock FW does not have BusyBox.

No. Stock firmware.
Nothing changed.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I found out that if you enable Remote File Server, it opens up SSH port that allows you to login as root WITHOUT any password and you get busybox. I posted this earlier but nobody seems interested. tried contacting DLINK. Ditto! So I just gave up and nor use the Remote Backup Server feature.

I don't have time to waste... regarding to how D-Link is providing support for their devices on the firmware, it would be useless... or they will tell me to buy the new model....

At least my access was not accepted... the ssh is open, it accept the login but no way to log in (gui login/pass or empty).
Whatever i gave up and hope i am protected by my firewall at home...
