Title: Port Triggering?
Post by: dyvurcz on March 01, 2014, 06:55:58 AM
Does this router have port triggering or something equivalent to it?  Reason being I've spoke to someone who has port triggers set up for xbox live on another router and no matter what his xbox one consoles will always have open NAT being that ANY traffic from ANY ip address that hit those ports will automatically open up.  Not just one device that ports are forwarded to.

Is it possible to suggest a feature add to dlink? Triggers seem to be the way to go for multiple consoles.

Please post in the features request and bugs thread...worth asking, however it may not be compatible with SB. Usually uPnP handles the ports and mulitiples of devices.

You need to test the 2nd XB1 direct connect and see what the results are...also reset the XB1s as well...

Yea I'll test the second xb1 minus the dap later on.  Resetting them will always give open nat because thats essentially the same as using power saving modes as it is doing full reboot. The issue is instant on "waking from sleep mode"
