Title: NCS Plug-in installed but IE doesn't recognise this
Post by: loul on March 01, 2014, 04:02:24 PM
On accessing DCS-5222L Live View through the browser, IE11, displays the message:

"Click here to download the NCS Plug-in, and install it on your computer. Then restart your browser to view the video."

Repairing/Uninstalling/Reinstalling the NCS Plug-in makes no difference.
Occasionally randomly it would seem IE11 will display the camera live view.
On checking IE11 Manage Add-ons the only D-Link item listed is TunnelX Control 32bit 2. 5. 2. 0 Status: Enabled.

Firefox doesn't suffer this problem. Other D-Link cameras DCS-2310L, DCS-7010L and DCS-2310L don't suffer from this problem in IE11 or Firefox

Is this a limitation/incompatibility that the DCS-5222L has with Internet Explorer, ie is this a common issue for others?

Firmware ver: 1.11 build: 2825
Running Win7 Pro x64bit and repeatable on a 2nd Notebook PC running Win8 Pro x64bit
