Hello
I had some problem and I flashed different versions, and the last flash probably went wrong, as I couldn't get to http://dlinkap/ at all.
I followed the instructions and made it to the recovery mode via 192.168.0.50.
But, no matter what I flash, after I see the upgrade successful message, if I go to 192.168.0.50 I see a message that looks like the upgrade process began again. and if I disconnect the dap from the power, and connect again, then 192.168.0.50 gets me to the recovery mode where I can upload a file.
I can't go to http://dlinkap/ .
FurryNutz, can you help me please?
It's DAP 1360 rev B.

3rd Party Security Software Configurations
- Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Emergency Recovery Mode (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.0)
What file are you using to send to the Recovery mode?
After the successful message appears does the DAP reboot automatically or just does it stay at the recovery screen? If it doesn't reboot automatically after the success message, power the DAP off for 10 seconds then power back on...
If any of this fails, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and get immediate help and information on this.
Keep us posted...

I Got It Working!
FurryNutz you're so smart! I had to lower the IE security settings, and disable avast, and than flash the firmware.
I tried to work it for hours now, and finally I found a thread in a Russian forum, written by someone who had just the same problem. He suggested to lower the security of IE and suddenly the light of the antenna came back from the grave!
You can't imagine what I tried. I even had opened the unit to try to see if the reset button was stuck. I had no way to indicate its status even when the thing was open. But I saw on the motherboard the text "Revision: A1" even though the sticker outside says it's rev B.
However, even if the connection drops from time to time, at least it works!
Thank you FurryNutz for the blazing fast answer. You're the man!

I'll add the security settings to the Recovery sticky information for future use.
Enjoy.

Great, you just add the 192.168.0.50 to the trusted sites under "sites" in security tab of the internet options.
Thanks!
