Title: DGL 4500 as adapter
Post by: vjw757 on March 04, 2014, 08:45:46 AM
I have a wireless router setup in my home. It is the ASUS (RT-AC68U) Wireless-AC1900 Dual-Band Gigabit Router..

I have a desktop that I want to use that is no where near the router. So I can not use the lan ports on it.

I do have an old DGL-4500 laying around.

Would it be possible to use the DGL-4500 as a wireless adapter to connect to the ASUS?

Is possible to do this with the 4500:
Turning a router into an AP (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=40856.0)

Additional Info: Bridge Mode vs Relay vs Acess Point (AP) / Routers vs Dedicated Access Points (AP) (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=50738.0)
