Hey All, New here, here is my question:
I have Cable modem which gives me 2 dynamic Ips from my ISP..
I have Dir 655 and Dir 601 routers
how do i utilize these two ips?
I am thinking a switch where modem is connected to it then my routers wired into the switch, but i would like to eliminate that if i can.. and would like to hook up my modem directly to Dir 655 and then give DMZ access to 601 and will it obtain the 2nd ip or no?

ink>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)
- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
I'd contact the ISP and see how they recommend using both IP addresses. Unless there modem can provide the 2 different IP addresses simultaneously at the same time, you'd need 2 modems. Then connect each modem to each router.

Any status on this? ???
