Title: The internet disconnects as soon as my laptop connects
Post by: zhantshen on March 05, 2014, 05:46:15 AM
Super weird, but that's how it goes.
I recently bought a new laptop and is trying to connect it to the DIR-605L via Wifi, but as soon as I connect to the wireless network, the Internet disconnects( as in Maintenance-System Check: Internet is disconnected).
I'm running 1.14 and has tried factory reset with no luck. The laptop works with other wireless router( ATM I'm using my old router as a AP from 605 as a remedy, but the old one is buggy), The 605 also works perfectly when I'm using my cellphone or tablet. This is really annoying since my old wireless router breaks up connection frequently and can't keep any persistent connection.

What OS is loaded on this Laptop?
Ensure any WiFi adapter drivers are up to date and the adapter is configured to handle all models including N mode and can support WPA2 and AES security modes...

Disable any IPv6 protocols on the adapter under networking.
