3rd Party Security Software Configurations
- Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
What driver are you using?
It's possible that the driver and this model DWA is not compatible with Windows 7x64.

When i first intalled the card windows got the driver for me and i don't know where to find what is the driver ! And who can tell me if this card is not made for windows 7 x64 users ??
-
Well there is a Vista x64 driver on D-Links main web site however that was last done in 2007. I presume that maybe the Vista driver may work however still, it could not.

You should completely uninstall the current driver after you download this one. Then reboot and hit F8 on preboot to get the DOS Boot screen to load safe mode options. Select the Boot with Disable Driver Enforcement. Then proceed to boot and install the driver from the main site.
Let us know if this helps any.

I try your sugestion and after many manipulation the card appear, installed latest driver and everything work. I can see all the network but again when im trying to connect into my network everything crash again :( Do you thing if I have to buy another more recent wireless card ?

What wireless modes are you using on the main host router?
What Mfr and Model is this main host router?
What security modes are being used on the main host routers WiFi? WPA WEP? WPA2? TPIK or AES?
Is the main LAN networking on the PC disabled while you install and connect this WiFi card? Disconnect the lan cable to be sure.
Ya if we can't get this going with out crashing, I would suggest something newer be installed that is 7 x64 supporting...
-
I've tryied without the lan wire i forgot this one :P ! So I format my pc this morning and get everything installed again and the card seems to work until i'm trying to connect to my network again everything crashes !

Possible that there is a HW compatibility issue where with Windows 7, PC HW and this card.
Did you install the PCs motherboard chipset drivers as well using up to date drivers?
This is the only thing I can think of is that this card is just too old be used in Windows 7....
-
Maybe the card is too old for windows 7 64 bits i'll try to update all the motherboard driver juste in case !

Hi FRANKKGSPEED,
Nope, the card isn't too old for Windows 7 64-Bit, as I had to replace my Axper Motherboard, with an Asus Motherboard and used the same card. It connects to my D-Link DIR-655 A3 just fine. It also connected to my Verizon Router, too.
Just use Windows to connect to your Router, not the D-Link Software. Just make sure that the WLAN AutoConfig Service is set to Automatic, not Manual.
