The Router is Not connected To the Internet. He only serves for some isolated Computers to Access each Other. DHCP is enabled and also DNs relay. Clients submit their host name during dhcp resolving. In the routers network page I can see the ip adresses assigned to the clients and the host names. On the clients the DNS server is set to the ip of the router. However the clients only reach each other by ip addresses not by host names. It seems that the internal DNS server doesn't resolve the host names of the dhcp clients.
Is this a bug?
Greetings, jörg

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
It maybe that some D-Link routers only resolve by IP addresses.
I recommend that you phone contact D-Link support and ask about this and and if it's supported.
Let us know it goes...
