Hi, any help would be appreciated.
I recently installed concurrently a new Motorola Modem (as dictated by cable provider) and the D-Ling 645 router. I have excellent wireless communication between the router and my HP notebook computer. But now the signal to Sony Bravia TV with USB Wireless Lan adaptor is too slow to even consider using. So I can stream netflix to my notebook and then use HDMI to TV and it works fine. But direct to TV is unusable.
I also used to be able to send wifi music from my notebook but now the songs go for about 2 seconds and then dead for about 4 seconds and then start again for about 2 seconds. Any suggestions. I am not a computer geek but can do basic diagnostics. Thanks Curt

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?

- What wireless modes are you using?
- 2.4Ghz Routers only: Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N?
USB on the TV maybe the bottle neck and might be too slow for streaming video.
Ensure the TVs FW is up to date.
Does the TV have a wired LAN port connector by chance?
What WiFi mode does the USB Wireless adapter support? G, N?
