Title: Does the new firmware fix the torrent removal bug?
Post by: LeeC2202 on March 09, 2014, 08:30:49 AM
I have just downloaded the new firmware, but after seeing a comment about network shares disappearing, I am reluctant to upgrade just yet.

I actually signed up to ask about the torrent removal bug, where you cannot remove completed torrents outside the schedule times (which is a bit stupid).

So has this bug been fixed in the latest firmware, and is the network shares problem an isolated incident?

The release notes are posted here: DNS-345 - Cumulative Firmware Release Notes (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=50047.0)

I read those before I posted, but there was no mention of anything related to this problem. So I just thought I would ask, in case it was something that did get fixed, but was missed out of the release notes.

I find it hard to imagine that this problem has been present for so long, based on my current firmware version. But I would have thought they would have mentioned a fix this significant.

Sorry, but that's the only source of information I have other actually installing and testing the firmware itself.  :-\

No problem, thanks for the help. I'll keep my eye on the firmware comments thread, to see if any other people have the network shares issue or not.
