Title: WAN becoming slower as devices connects to wireless
Post by: gabrielnmartins on March 10, 2014, 04:13:02 PM
Recently my house became crowded with many wireless devices.
As soon as more people start getting home, the slower the download/upload on my PC becomes.

I've checked for traffic control, the equal band distribution is offline.
I tried setting maximum download bandwith for my pc and that worked (I secured that amount of bandwith for myself). However, I can't just let all the bandwith available for me, and I also don't want to "waste" speed when it's just myself connected, as I'd have a limit bandwith for me.

My hardware version is C1 and firmware version 3.05.
Any tips?

Does this model router have anything similar to this in QoS?

Hi, sorry for never answering back.
I don't know why and don't know how, but my problem solved itself.
I have no idea of what actually happened, but thanks for trying to help.

Well, glad it's working now at least.  ::)

Come back if you need anything else.

Enjoy.
