Title: What if DNS-320L breaks? and X-Box feature
Post by: rodrigo_vp on March 19, 2014, 10:48:18 AM
Hi,

Supposing DNS-320L break during its usage, what would happen with its HDD?

1) Does the HD content remains available?
2) By changing these same HDD to other DNS-320L, is it going to recognize the content or require to format it?
3) Is it possible to recoup the HDD using computer?

Another question is about X-Box feature. Can I use DNS-320L as a storate certer to download games from XBOX LIVE?

Thank you,
Rodrigo Paiva

So long as the replacement DNS-320L is using the same firmware, you should be able to drop the HDDs into a new DNS-320L, but make sure the HDDs are properly labeled so you know which slot number they were originally seated.
