Title: Re: My ISP has IPv4 only, how can i configure my IPv6 connection ?

I do recommend disabling IPv6 to those who don't use it at all, if your not using it then theres probably no need to have it enabled and using up resources on the router and PCs. it can always be re-enabled too.

How do you disable IPv6?  Just got a newer DIR-655 with hardware C1 and I've updated the firmware to 3.01.  I have no need for IPv6, but can't find where to disable it.

There isn't an option to disable it under Setup -> IPv6, which is why I asked.  The only choice seems to be Local Connectivity Only.

Yes, use the Local Only option. This keeps the router from doing any IPv6 with the ISP modem if your ISP and the ISP modems doesn't support it natively.

Further, if you want to disable IPv6 in Windows, you can un-check the IPv6 protocol under the network adapter settings as well.
