Title: Problem with connecting cable modem to ruter

I have connected properly cable modem to router and then using network cable i connect router->computer.
Next step go to D-LINK setup menu and put it on Dinamic DHCP. All did good, and report that i am connected but dont have internet.

Log error was -> Whole System SYN Flood Attack from WAN Rule:Default deny

Help please.

- windows 8.1 64bit
- Motorola SB5101E (cable modem)

and time to time reporing DNS server is not responding error??

Some things to try: - Log into the routers web page at 192.168.0.1. Use IE, Opera or FF to manage the router. Besure to log into the Admin account on the router.

I solved the problem. But i have another. When connect wireless with mobile LG 4 II, internet is just disconnecting. (it is disconnecting in computer and mobile)

On my mobile i put:

WPA/WPA2 PSK, and connect is working, but in like 5 sec, disconnect both computer and mobile device.

I recommend that you set up wireless SSID and name under Setup/Wireless/Manual.

Disable WPS as it's not needed for this...

Have the mobile device or wireless device connect to the SSID name and PW that you set up under Setup/Wireless/Manual.

And its only with mobile! I use wireless to connect second computer. It is working good.

As a test, disable WiFi security temporarily on the router. Does the mobile device connect then and stay connected?

How far is the router from the device?

7. Download speeds up to 38 Mbps
8. WPA/WPA2, AUTO (TKIP/AES), PSK

10. About 30 cm, or 2-3 feet.

Try changing the WiFi mode from Mixed to single mode G...will the device stay connected then?

I presume since the other devices are connecting and keep the connection, the problem maybe be with this particular mobile device and not the router...
