Title: Help sort of lost wireless
Post by: LeeA on March 27, 2014, 08:42:08 PM
I have a dl524 and ATT DSL. It used to work great. It is bridged. It was working and then I changed something. What I changed is I needed to test my mother's router and tested it at my house and then put mine back. Now my laptop can't connect to the internet. It sees the wireless and asks for the key but then just sits there and spins. What is strange is my cell phone still gets to the internet through my wireless.

thanks
Lee

Try a factory reset and set up the 524 from scratch...

Yeah, I tried that and it didn't help. It is the same, my cell phone has no problem but my laptop can't connect. It's not the laptop either because the tablet can't connect either.

If you temporarily disable the WiFi security on the router, will the LT and pad connect then?
