Hello All!
This is my first post, so I am hoping it is in the correct location!
I have a DNS-325 running. Been about a year.
I have it hard wired into my LAN.
I have a samsung tv also hard wired into my LAN.
I have never had a problem accessing the NAS. I would simply change the *source on my tv from HDMI1 to the name of my NAS. From there, I could choose my videos and watch my media.
My problem occurred a couple days ago. The option for my NAS has simply disappeared from my Television.
I have confirmed network connectivity (my tv is getting proper IP)
I can access NAS through web browser
I have refreshed the UPnP AV server many times but to no avail.
I cannot even access it on my macbook through finder. I get " Can't be opened, because the original item can't be found"
I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you.

My first thought was that the TV might have updated it's firmware without your knowing it and caused the problem. However, the other things you report here make me wonder.

Well, the obvious question would be have you tried restarting the NAS?
The error from the macbook smells like a link that you were using to access a network share which is no longer available.
I would check to see if the NAS is advertising the shares. Use CMD-K to bring up the mount option and hit browse to see what it tells you.
You "should" see your NAS on the network and the shares it is making available.

First try rebooting the DNS-325 and then reboot your router.
