Hi..I am not clear as to the sequence of the updates...a security patch was issued in Feb. I did not apply it, as I was 2000 miles away at the time. I am now back home, and I see that a couple of software updates (8-2 most recent) have also been pushed. My question is...do I apply the security patch first and then update with version 8-2 of the software, or is that particular security patch now contained in the 8-2 update?
Should I ignore the 8-1 version and go straight to 8-2?
Thank you,
Bob

The word "Patch" is a misnomer, as the file is a full firmware replacement. Updating to firmware v1.08b02 will simply overwrite whatever version currently installed. In short, just upload the most current firmware: 1.08b02.

Okay, thanks; I will do that this afternoon.

The camera seems to work with local lan-router connection. I still have to try to access it remotely, but I foresee no problems there. One thing I noted: I needed to unplug and replug the camera in order for the
red light to turn green. It was flashing red on and off. When I reapplied power, it took a few seconds for the ensuing solid red to turn green. I imagine it was in the process of getting an IP address from the router.
Again, thanks for the info.

Bob
