Hi,
I owned a DIR615 router for a while, and since I only had G adapters, I used it
in g mode for stronger signal before. It works in this mode.
Recently I got an USB wireless N adapters (Airlink AWLL6080 300N), so I set my router to n/g mode. But I can't get a stable connection. It seems to drop signals every few seconds, so I can't connect to the network practically. I downgrade the router to g mode and try again, the adapter has no problem connecting to it. Then I tried n mode only, it has problem again. So, the problem seems to happen only in N mode (no matter whether it is pure N or mixed).
Then I tried another USB wireless N adapter (AWLL6070 150N), and have the same problem. But I tried these two adapters at my friend's Netgear dual bank N router, and they both work fine. It seems that DIR615 is not compatible with Airlink N adapters like Netgear :'(. I tried the latest firmware, but still not working.
Does anybody have similar situation? Any suggestions about how to solve such compability issue? Or do I have to stuck with DLink adapters once I buy its router?
Thanks.
Jack

Which hardware version of the DIR-615 do you have?
Always update the firmware, via an Ethernet cable, to the latest version available (never a Beta version, if possible.)

My router is rev C1, and firmware is 3.01. I also tried 3.10NA, but still doesn't work.
Thanks.

@ Changfan,
I have the exact problem as you, same router and firmware, although i'm using a d-link dwa 130 rev 1c usb nic. Also tried N and N&G and they both drop connection, just G doesn't.

Was searching this forum and found someone had posted there's a update for the firmware to 3.12 on the d-link site.
