Title: DLink DIR-655 Router Affected By HeartBeart Bug ?
Post by: thekochs on April 11, 2014, 04:45:35 AM
Sorry of this has been asked but I'm running 1.34NA (has worked great so have not upgraded) on my DIR-655.  Is this product/firmware open to the OpenSSL bug/threat ?

There is no "HeartBeart" bug...

Are you referring to this?

If you track through the posts, you'll eventually come to this link:

It appears that the DIR-655 does not use the OpenSSL library and is therefore not affected.
(I'm encouraged to see that while my own DIR-605L uses an implementation of OpenSSL, it's not affected either.)
