Title: Is DIR-655 B1 compatible with Windows Shareport 4.30 ?

Hello Everyone,

I got a DIR-655 with hardware revision B1. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits and I wonder if Shareport 4.30 is compatible with my router.

I believe it is sir...What FW version is currently loaded on the B1?

Thanks for the answer.

It has FW 2.09 version. I have shareport 1.20, after first shareport setup my printer worked fine. I use to turn off the router when I don't use it. The next time I turn on the router shareport couldn't recognize my printer. To solve the problem I entered to the router USB settings and reconfigured to shareport, after router reboot shareport could find my printer again.

I've been reading and realize I'm using and old version of shareport so I want to update it.

You can leave the router enabled and all  the time...what they are meat for...

I turn off the router because it still emiting electromagnetic waves and that's not healthy.

ok...radio waves from these routers are not harmful to humans in close proximity sir. Enjoy.
