... whatever that means!
My wired DCS-930L went through the motions of update, but still reports v 1.10 (2014-02-11) ...

Don't shoot the messenger! ;)
My initial thought (pure speculation) is that something broke in the v1.09 release and this was a quick fix, perhaps the version info and build date were not updated in the file. The DCS-932L has a similar release with the same posted change log.

... still reports v 1.10 (2014-02-11) ...
Today I discovered that no images had been sent since executing the update yesterday -
Attempts today to send test image by email or ftp both resulted in "testing..." status.
This was resolved by reboot of the camera.
Still indicating 1.10
-
Can another DCS-930L owner who updated to this firmware version please validate that the reported version number still read v1.10 after the upgrade?

I updated manually via web interface and it says 1.11

From which site did you download the firmware?

Oops, just saw your query -
Gosh, I don't remember - is there more than one site?
I just completed another "update" on the same (wired) DCS-930L, with the same result - still on v1.10
Am I the only one who can't update after 3 tries?
...
Now about 10 minutes later, the camera is now offline and I'll have to climb up and re-boot the power on it.
It is seen on the LAN, and returns pings, but no camera function.

LOL. . . you still didn't say where you got the file (presuming you downloaded it again from the same site).

As stated, I did not remember the origin -
... it is the same file obtained from the first link in your first post on this thread.

Thanks. That links back to the same file location used by mydlink.com/support.

Today, updated firmware fw111 via mydlink.com - earlier (local) attempts failed, this worked.
Wired but still nervous about potential for internet glitch.
Guess I'll try on the other cameras.

I reported earlier [e.g., Reply #2 on: April 23, 2014], about our first (older?) DCS-930L that refused to be updated from v1.10 to v1.11 using a locally downloaded file, despite multiple tries, but finally DID update from the mydlink website.
Today I updated 3 other DCS-930L successfully from the same local file.
But the 5th one refused just like the first one had done. So then I tried from the mydlink site - after about 10 minutes it's still flywheeling and warning me to not unplug. I doubt that my 24Mbps cable connection is the key factor.
Eventually I refreshed the browser and tried again. Same nonsense.
Camera is at least still working, albeit on v1.10.
It is truly sad that these D-Link devices exhibit such poor user friendliness.
UPDATE - We tried one-more-time with the local file - and this time it worked ...
I hope that D-Link never decides to enter the field of medical electronics.

I am unable to upgrade the firmware via ethernet or wifi. After firmware 100% uploaded, the FIRMWARE UPGRADE get stuck at loading and the management web interface no longer is no longer responsible. The LED is still green and I can still ping the camera but mydlink lost connectivity to the camera. Power cycling the camera, firmware still at 1.06

My DCS-930L just updated to v1.11b01. Everything seems fine except it cannot keep emailing according event.
My setting was to email a picture every 300sec.
Email credential is correct and email Test was successful.
It does send email on first or second 300secs right after power on, but after that it went complete silent..
When I do email Test again, then the 300secs event email get through again for two or three more, before it went silent again.
I'm so regret that I upgrade to this firmware. I wish I can find back my old firmware which was okay since I bought it, but don't know which version was that.
Did anyone have similar problem with email? I hope there's a fix for this...
UPDATE
=======
Luckily I'm able to find old firmware v1.08b4 and re-flash back, and email sending event resumes back to normal. I hope DLink would do something with this issue and I would certainly not updating to v1.11b01 ever.
