What version of InSSIDer are you using, if v3...it doesnt support detecting of AC modes.
What connection rates are you seeing on the routers web page under Status/Wireless?

I`m using the inSSDer  3.1.2.1

but the windows 7 shows  the radio type as 802.11n (to 5GHz)

my config is:

WIRELESS LAN
Wireless Radio : Enabled
MAC Address : c8:d3:a3:24:94:a8
802.11 Mode : 802.11n only
Channel Width : 20/40MHz
Channel : 11
Network Name (SSID) :PAULO_HOME1
Wi-Fi Protected Setup : Enabled/Configured
Security : WPA/WPA2-PSK
Guest Zone Wireless Radio : Disabled
Guest Zone Network Name (SSID) :dlink-guest
Guest Zone Security : Disabled

WIRELESS LAN2
Wireless Radio : Enabled
MAC Address : c8:d3:a3:24:94:aa
802.11 Mode : 802.11ac only
Channel Width : 20/40/80MHz
Channel : 161
Network Name (SSID) :PAULO_AC
Wi-Fi Protected Setup : Enabled/Configured
Security : WPA/WPA2-PSK
Guest Zone Wireless Radio : Disabled
Guest Zone Network Name (SSID) :dlink-5GHz-guest
Guest Zone Security : Disabled

and the Qos is disabled...

MAC Address            IP Address    Mode    Rate (Mbps)    Signal (%)
AC:F1:DF:0F:BA:6F   192.168.0.103   11ac            702                   100

ok but in windows the radio type is 802.11n
 that's is a windows 7 bug ?

The 182 is connecting at AC mode speeds...

What is the connection rate being reported in Windows?

No, I presume it should be showing AC mode. Is this in Windows networking status menu or the D-Link WiFi app?

Not sure about Windows app however D-Link app should be AC. Are you using the most current driver from D-Links web site for the adapter?
