Title: Replacement fan?
Post by: PatrickHuard on May 17, 2014, 04:03:15 AM
Hi! My DNS-323 is getting old and the fan is starting to be really noisy but it still suit my needs so I don't want to replace it.

Anyone know where I can find a replacement fan for this? (Or maybe the specs of the fan? I think it runs on 5 DC but all the fans I found were running on higher voltage)

Hi Patrick,

My parts guy says you are looking for an ADDA  AD0405HB-G73 fan which can be bought from http://www.pchub.com/uph/laptop/656-94432-25962/ADDA-AD0405HB-G73-Server-Square-Fan.html (http://www.pchub.com/uph/laptop/656-94432-25962/ADDA-AD0405HB-G73-Server-Square-Fan.html) which is where we got toe one we replaced for a client.

When you do replace it make sure you label the disks so that you return then to the same slot and give the case a good clean out with a clean small paintbrush before you reassemble it.
