When my motion detector spotlight on my home turns on the camera is pointing in the same place which pretty much whites out the whole facial recognition. What are my options here? If the night vision wasn't on I assume the picture would capture correctly but that cant be the case since it is night time and I would not get night footage then. Any ideas?

are you looking through glass which is illuminated by the sensor lamp?

Log into the DCS-932L web UI and navigate to SETUP > Image Setup > IMAGE Settings. Is Enable Anti Flicker selected? If so, try unchecking and save the settings.

it is pointing through glass.. and the antiflicker isnt on.. Even though you said turn it off im going to test it on tonight ha

chances are, the 932 IR emitters are reflected back from the glass ...
