Title: Multiple SSID's & VLANS
Post by: bluelogic on May 21, 2014, 07:33:57 AM
Hi,

I have setup a number of 3200APs with VLANS and multiple SSIDs but am having trouble with the DAP-2695,

I have 2 SSIDs "Wireless" (Primary SSID, IP range 192.168.200.x) and "Guest Wireless" (SSID 1, IP range 192.168.100.x))

I would like "Wireless" to use VLAN ID 1 and "Guest Wireless" to use VLAN ID 2

The unit is connected via a single cable and uses PoE

When I setup the VLAN as I think is logical the main wireless works fine but the guest wireless just seems to ignore the VLAN and give me an IP address from the 192.168.200.x range,

Any help would be great,

Cheers

Damian

I'd check the user manual to see if there is any configuration help there. You may need to contact D-Link support for help and information regarding Guest Zone and VLAN behaviors and check to see if it's supported. It may not be. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
