Hello, when new version of Shareport will be released? Why ftp://ftp.dlink.de//dir/dir-655/driver_software/SharePortUtility_123_macos108_multi_20121226.zip is this the latest version for so long period? Discontinued software? Any status updates on it? Or my next network product shall not be D-link any more? :)
Please give me an answer.
Regards,
Peter

Yes, its for NA version, i need EU version for my revision B router. Only revision C suits the firmware you inked.
-
I believe the link I sent you would include SP for the EU region. Did you try the most recent version? ??? The SP versions are for all Revs I believe as well.

Does not work. Tried every possible version, even one straight form manufacturer. I think d-link is not interested in developing SP for latest version of mac os x. Shame.

Works for me and my printer:

Are you trying to connect a printer or a HDD? It maybe an incompatibility issue with the device your trying to connect. With out more details, hard to help you more. ::)

I'm connecting a printer. The problem is, SP 4.2 version is incompatible with my EU version router. I was trying windows versions and there's same on behavior. The SP listed here http://www.dlink.com/de/de/support/product/dir-655-wireless-n-gigabit-router?revision=deu_revb works perfectly. I think its separate programs. Even UI is different.

And v4.30 doesn't work thats located here?

So v1.XX works and v4.xx does not?

Correct. You can see that even changing revision letter gives different software. I think Rev C was made the same as NA version. My guess would be that no one cares about us anymore. Router's usb port is useless now.
-
So can you use v1.XX at all? If you can then I wouldn't say that the USB port is completely useless. If it works then just means the v4x is not compatible.
Overall, I would recommend getting a print server device an install the printer on it:
http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/search?q=DPR (http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/search?q=DPR)
This will eliminate the need for using SP and make things easier in the long run.

why buy print server if you have usb in router :)))

To avoid the issues your seeing and eliminate the use of SP if you have multiple users needing access to the router.
