Hello people,
I have successfully set up my DNS 320 L even though some things are not working as they
should.
One of them being the FTP connection.
I have used the following setting for my FTP server on the DNS 320 L.
Maximum users: 5
Idle Time: 10
Port: 3643
Passive Mode -> Use the default port range (55536-55663)
I did not check "Report external IP in PASV mode"
Client Language ISO-8859-1 ( Western European )
Flow Control -> Unlimited
SSL / TLS -> did not check anything
FXP -> disable
--------------------------------------------------------------
As long as I use Filezilla to access the FTP server by using the internal IP 192.168.1.5
everything works fine. I generally use it to upload files to the FTP server.
Response: 220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [privsep] [TLS] ----------
Response: 220-You are user number 1 of 5 allowed.
Response: 220-Local time is now 19:30. Server port: 3643.
Response: 220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server.
Response: 220 You will be disconnected after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Command: MLSD
Response: 150 Accepted data connection
Response: 226-Options: -a -l
Response: 226 3 matches total
Status: Directory listing successful
------------------------------------------------------------------
However whenever I try to access the FTP access by using the dyndns address
it fails to connect to the FTP server. Port forwarding on the router is working as I used
this before for the FTP server on the PC and it always worked with the same dyn address.
Whenever I use Filezilla to access my FTP server using the dyn address I am getting the following
error message:
Response: 220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd [privsep] [TLS] ----------
Response: 220-You are user number 1 of 5 allowed.

Status: Server sent passive reply with unroutable address. Using server address instead.
Command: MLSD
-> The error message shows that the port forwarding is using however I do not understand
why no directory is shown in Filezilla. It is basically useless.
Any help would be appreciated.
