Title: New DNS-320L seems very unstable
Post by: brinch on June 18, 2014, 01:35:23 PM
I just bought a 320L NAS a few weeks ago. Access to to the disks, whether through mounts or the web interface, is incredibly slow and unstable. I can only log in sometimes through the web interface and once I am logged in, 404 not found starts appearing after a few clicks. Currently this is what I see when I try to access the NAS:

Is this really the expected performance?

Mine (or more accurately a customer's) is somewhat flaky as well.

I remote into their SBS server to do my work and have found recently a lot of DNS-320L web GUI freezing was solved by a power cycle of the unit. However the problems didn't stop there. When I was able to resume backups with Acronis Backup & Recovery SBS Edition, after a while the server (SBS2011) will lose the LAN connection to the DNS-320L and the backup obviously fails.
