I switched to DLINK 2750U just yesterday. Windows File Sharing used to be a breeze through my old modem provided by my ISP. But ever since I switched to using this one neither the desktop can find my laptop nor vice versa. Solid Explorer app from the phone can find neither two of the devices. Now this may come of as a noob question but I seem to kind have missed something which should make it work.
Can anyone walk me through the steps I should check for it to work again?
I am using Windows 8.1.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
- Setup DHCP (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=58017.0) reserved IP addresses for all devices ON the router. Setup/Networking. This ensures each devices gets its own IP address when turned on and connected, eliminates IP address conflicts and helps in troubleshooting and maintain consistency for applications that need to connect as well as mapped drives.
- Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
- If you have any of these options, Try turning OFF Short GI (http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-features/30969-what-do-80211ns-optional-features-mean-for-you), WLAN Partition, Extra Wireless Protection.
You'll need to refer to MS support site for information and help regarding sharing and mapping to shared resources for Windows.

Hardware version is U1. Firmware version is IN_1.08.
I am located in India.
DHCP is on and all devices get their own IP addresses. But I cannot ping them. Keep getting Destination host unreachable.
I don't see any WLAN Parition and Short GI settings. As for Wireless Protection its setup using Auto WPA. WPS is active but none of the devices are using it currently for connecting.

Managed to resolve the problem on my own. Seems the modem by default has the option "MultiAP isolation" turned on which was not allowing the devices to connect to each other. Unchecked and now everything is back to normal. :)

Glad you got it working, Enjoy. ;)
