Hello D-Link Forum,
I'm helping a friend get setup with a DLINK modem. Something isn't quite right as I'm unable to change the wifi-password.
When I access the router at http://192.168.1.1,
and I enter the username admin and password admin
I get the admin interface, but strangely it says that it is for the product DSL-2500E, firmware 1.07.

As a result, there is no link under the Setup menu item to change the wifi details.

I think that the incorrect firmware has been installed on the router. Can anybody recommend something here?
Much appreciated,
Notthatjimmy.

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48135.0)
What does the router case or sticker under the case say for model # information? Can you confirm the model number vs what is displayed on the web page?
- What region are you located?

Any status on this? ???
