Title: Will a U.S bought router work in the U.K?

Hey guys, I recently bought a D-Link Dir-615 wireless router while visiting family in Seattle. I'm now back home in the U.K, and have tried for about an hour now to get the damn thing to work.

 I'm with BT Broadband if that's helpful, I've plugged everything in and ran through the setup wizard but alas, the router still does not connect to the internet (although the other lights are on).

Can anyone tell me if a U.S bought router will work in the U.K? If so, any advice getting this to work?

It will work in the UK.

What is your:

ISP
Modem (brand & model)
Router (brand & model)
