Title: http or https?
Post by: btp on July 02, 2014, 08:16:46 PM
which is better to access my admin account when logging in behind my router, ie local network?
I understand https should offer more security but is this necessary when operating behind a firewall?
noticed both protocols available on the 5010. also noticed slower page rendering (speed?) when using https on the 5010.
https not available to date on 930. any future fw plans to address this on the 930?

Are you using wifi?  Are you in guest mode or using encryption?

thanks for the advice.
I suspected as much but confirmation from a router ranger such as yourself is always better.
pretty much how I operate my router as well.
