Title: Just a question about virtual server configuration
Post by: alex_82 on July 14, 2014, 07:14:04 AM
Hi to all.

Just a question about virtual server configuration.
Is it possible to configure 2 or more IP address with the same internal port and different public port ?

I mean something like that:

public port 5551, IP address 156.125.0.25, internal port 25
public port 5552, IP address 156.125.0.26, internal port 25

the dwr 921 said that the internal port is duplicated, but i think that the control should be necessary only for public port and IP address ! not for internal port on a different server (different IP address).

i need that to work with six IP cameras with different IP address and the same rtsp PORT (example 554)

someone can help me ?
maybe possible that the firmware must be updated in order to solve this issue ?
thanks to all and regards !

I presume that you may need to use different ports as you can't use duplicate ports for different devices.
