Shareport nor the webGUI does not natively provide any automatic backup mechanism. Assuming you have mapped a network drive to the USB port on your router, you should be able to setup some sort of back up process using a backup software suite of your choice. You would simply tell the software to schedule a backup of what you want to where you want (mapped drive).

Hello FurryNutz
Yes, there are news about this, and it is possible to this without using Shareport App.

First i setup this with my Macbook Pro and App Chronosync. (Available for demo/purchased with full features).

In finder you can Mount the storage using smb:\\DIR868-L. Make sure to setup previously the user and pass to access to storage (admin, Pass: blank, default).
If you get mounted you should be able to see the drive in Finder.
Then in Chronosync use the same addresses and pass to access and backup your files.

hope helpful for you all.

regards
