Title: Will chromecast work with dir - 635?

I have a dir 635, will this work with chromecast from Google?

• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
• Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
• What region are you located?

I'd review Googles support site on what they support in routers:

Hi thanks for replying

Hardware version is A1,nkt sure of the firmware I'll check that out when I next go on I'm sure it's tour of most up to date though..

I looked on chromecast website and my router is not listed on there but wasn't sure if that meant it's not compatible.

I am in the UK

Well you can definitely test it out and it if fails, then it might be time for a new router or, you could disable the WiFi on the 635 and install a D-Link model DAP to just upgrade the WiFi while keeping the 635 router only going.  ;D

I only see two that I suggest looking at, the 1520 and the 1360. Kind of limited products in your area.

This would be an alternative suggestion since I notice it on the Google list:

You could replace your current router with it or use it as a wired only AP.
