I just purchased the DSC-5222L in Sweden and took it with me to Spain to install it in an apartment. On arrival I realize that the computer in the apartment does not have a CD-slot. ???
Can I still install this camera to the network?
I have an account and two other cameras in my home in Sweden! I use the D-link app to check these two cameras out!

Even if you had a CD I recommend that you don't use it. Visit mydlink.com/support and download the latest Setup Wizard application. The Setup Wizard application on mydlink.com will be more recent than the legacy version on the CD. You should also download the latest firmware as well.
Please post back if you have additional questions.

:) Thanx!
I'll give it a try.

Please post back and let us know how everything turns out.

Now I'm sitting here trying and trying!
Can't say that the instructions are 100 proof. When the inst.program asks me if my light is steady green there doesn't seem to be the option flashing green. Only red light which I don't have. My light is not steady green and not red! What to do?
The program finds the camera but.....
Another waste of hours trying an installation that is supposed to be sooooo easy! ???

When I try the WPS installation the blue light starts flashing and the green light turns red!

If the camera is wired to your router and assigned an IP address, you can log into the camera web UI via a browser using a PC on the same LAN and manually enter the wireless credentials.

Thanx you for your info but that seems like another couple of frustrating hours for me who is merely a normal user! It is not worth ruining my and my family's vacation. The day yesterday was ruined due to the incomplete and poor instructions in the installation from Dlink!
I'll just return the camera when I get back and tell all my friends and neighbors that dlink cameras are nothing for non professionals!
Best regards

These cameras don't configure themselves. All networks are not created equal, so there's sometimes some user intervention required to get everything setup properly depending on specific configurations.
Sorry things didn't work out for you. ;)
If you're still interested in working through the configuration, you can continue working with the member community or contact D-Link Technical Support: 1-888-851-6464

I'm sorry you didn't want to put any effort into setting up the camera. Best of luck finding another brand that sets itself up without lifting a finger.
