Was looking at a DSC-5010L today - and a question came to mind - I have a 327 NAS with a capacity of wireless communications and recording of 4 camera's - currently running it with 4 X 942L camera's - thinking about changing out one for the 5010. don't know enough about the 5010 - my 942's have a sd card and I can set up various recording functions for the SD card - and different one's for the NAS - so would the 5010/NAS combo set up and let me record events? Just thought I would ask before I try it out. THANKS

You can use DCS-5010L/FTP Video Clip or Snapshot function to record the image or video file on the DNS-327L's FTP server.

Thought there would be a way - however I have never got the FTP to work yet with my 942's - haven't tried for some time - just gave up
-
Have you tried the Surveillance add-on that comes with the DNS-327L?
-
Use it all the time - might be a workable option - wish I could get the FTP to work... THANKS for your help

I use FTP with my my Cloud cameras (including a DCS-5020L) to my DNS-343 and DNS-345. No reason the DNS-327L wouldn't work. Permission issue?
